I asked the Spirit about the gift of prophesy,

This answer came to me:

“Everything you need to know

Has already been revealed,

Only what the thunder said

Is still sealed.

Why be so concerned about what will be?

Did the Lord not say:

Enough is the trouble of each day?

Why worry about what lays ahead,

When what lays right in front of you,

you have misread?

The door that has been opened,

You walk right past,

The gift that has been extended,

You do not grasp.

While you gaze too far forward

Or too far back,

You have right within reach

That which you presume to lack.
